Narrative:
The Dover Police Department and Delaware Probation and Parole arrested several suspects on drug charges on Wednesday afternoon in the 200 Block of Sheldrake Circle following an investigation into narcotics sales. Officers checked the home after determining that Tyrese Tilghman-Benson (23) was on probation and residing at the home. During the check, officers detected a strong odor of marijuana inside the home. Inside the residence, officers contacted Temple Jefferson (23), William Johnson (19), Breauna Crosby (20), and Tilghman-Benson. Officers obtained a search warrant for the home and discovered that Johnson and Crosby were in possession of 212.2 grams of marijuana. Jefferson was found hiding in a bathroom and was in possession of 249 doses of MDMA.
Tilghman-Benson was released on a criminal summons for marijuana possession.
Temple Jefferson was committed to SCI on a $40,000 cash bail on the following offenses:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver MDMA
-Possession of MDMA
-Drug Paraphernalia
Johnson and Crosby were both released on O.R. bonds on the following offenses:
-Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana
-Possession of Marijuana
-Drug Paraphernalia
-Conspiracy 2nd Degree
