Three Arrested on Drug Charges, 1,390 Bags of Heroin Seized 1-8-16

Narrative:
Three people were arrested in drug charges on Thursday evening by the Dover Police Street Crimes Unit and Probation and Parole officers. At approximately 5:07PM, officers from Dover Police and Probation and Parole contacted Jamichael Peck (21), Shakkiah Bodine (22), and Leondrei Prince (43) at the corner of New and Reed Streets during a drug investigation. Peck attempted to walk away as officers approached, throwing a bag of marijuana and heroin as he did so. All three suspects were taken into custody without incident. Bodine and Peck were found to possess a total of 1390 bags of heroin (20.85 grams), and Peck also had 2.2 grams of marijuana. Prince was found to be in possession of .4 grams of crack cocaine.
