Narrative:
The Dover Police are on the hunt for two suspects in connection with a string of burglaries that occurred early Thursday morning, September 25th.  At approximately 2:37AM that day, officers were dispatched to Elite Liquors on Garton Road for  an alarm activation.  While traveling to Elite Liquors, officers were also dispatched to another alarm at Paradise Tans, directly across the street from Elite Liquors.  Upon arrival, officers discovered that the front door of Elite Liquors had been damaged.  Surveillance video later showed a suspect with a hood covering their face, throw a large rock like object at the door, attempting to break it.  The suspects failed to make entry into Elite Liquors.  Officers also responded to Paradise Tans, where they observed a broken front door as well.  Officers observed video and determined a separate subject had used broken that window and entered Paradise Tans, stealing their cash register drawer and fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Approximately one hour later, officers were dispatched to Romano’s, located on Walker Road for another alarm activation.  Upon arrival, officers discovered that the front door and window of the business was also broken out.  The suspects also broke the glass door to a beverage cooler within the business.  The suspects involved in this incident removed the cash drawer from the register, but left the cash on the counter prior to fleeing the area.  While officers were on the scene at Romano’s they discovered that the front door of China King, a neighboring business, was also shattered.  Surveillance video from this business shows a suspect matching the suspect from Paradise Tans, concealing their face with a hood, enter the business and remove a cash register drawer and flee with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Surveillance video from the Walker Road shopping center revealed that the suspect vehicle was a white Ford Ranger with a white grille, white bumper, and a distinct stripe down both sides of the vehicle.  Officers consulted with local vehicle experts and determined that the vehicle was a 1999 Ford Ranger.  Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Unit located the vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 100 block of Peach Peddler Path in Dover.  Through further investigation it was discovered that both Norman Young (24) and Christopher Robinson (26) were the operators of the vehicle and were developed as suspects in the break-ins.  Both Robinson and Young are wanted by the Dover Police Department at this time.  Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7111 or  call the Delaware Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-800-Tip-3333 or go online at www.tipsubmit.com.
